I?ve got 2 new Blue Rams that haven?t eaten since their arrival, they sit on the bottom of the tank like a zombies. I?ve tried blood worms and flake food. I have 2 Chinese Algae eaters, 3 Danios. It?s a 20g planted tank with a Whisper 30, 65watt single Satellite that?s on 11 hours per day. I have 1 inch of Flourite covered with 1 ?? of Lake Superior gravel. Its been up and running for over 2 months. I do water and filter changes every 3 weeks with RO water and no type of conditioner. I?m going to switch to tap now for the plants and use conditioner. I feed very small amounts 3 times a day, it rarely falls to the bottom.

I?ve just started the algae battle in the last week or so. I?m using activated charcoal that has no phosphates.
Not sure what the Phosphate level is. Put 15ml of Kent Cichlid Chemistry in last night which didn?t seem to help. I?m way beyond overwhelmed trying to figure out ph gh kn and how they all interact with each other. Lots of stuff on the web but my brain is fried

with all that data to sort through. Any suggestions why these fish seem to be so stressed and won?t eat? Thank you. New member. I'm enjoying your wealth of info on this forum.
