| Possible solution to algae on glass!!! I started up a 20 gallon (long size - I think it's 30" x 12"), cycled it with Bio Spira (works every time) and added 15 albino corys and 2 apple snails. Not to long after that I bought 12 green tetras and 2 glass fish. Probably sounds overstocked - you should see the rest of my tanks. This is the ONLY tank (I have 3 other bigger ones) that grows no algae on the glass. The lighting is the same as with all the other tanks, time on & off same, weekly 50% water changes. Could it be that the albino corys are that efficient? If so, I guess I'll buy more for my other tanks.
Anyone of you have no glass algae growth due to corys or otherwise? |
