There was a type of carbon that enzymes would turn to mush. I can't remember which one for sure but believe it was one of the coconut types. Enzyme products are those like Stresszyme. Overall I wouldn't worry about it too much since there's no reason to add enzyme products like Stresszyme long term once a tanks cycled and there's no reason to worry about adding carbon to a fishless cycling tank you'll be changing all the water on before adding fish anyway. The two products would never meet even if you could still find that type of carbon. |
