Howdy folks!
It's been a handful of months since I took a stroll through this forum. And with what help I have gotten before, I thought it worth checking out again.
I have my same 18gal and 10gal tanks, both with happy, healthy, looking communities.
My question deals with the real whispy green algae on the walls of my 10gal tank.
Fortunately, my neighborhood has a small LFS that seems to be doing well and seems VERY educated with this hobby
The owner, who I chit chat with when I am looking for more critters, says Ammano Shrimp have the best appetite and means for this kind of algae. Anyone else find this to be accurate? I recently got one into the tank, however, I am thinking he might be out-numbered against the latest bloom of algae. I was considering getting him a partner.Do these shrimp have any specific needs?, they seem to be real troopers and will survive on anything.
Just curious, thanks for any help!!
Spencer
