Lightbulb AC 70 Declawed

I was not sure how this was going to work but so far it's good! I took this "sucker-of friends" apart, cleaned 'er up real good. Then I got a clean pair of ladies trousers socks, natural color, no dye and cut off a piece, wrapped around the bottom intake and secured with a heavy duty rubber band. I recall someone, I think Nereaga saying it might not look to attractive to cover it and I actually considered using a piece of lace (hehe, not really) but better this than to lose Brad 2(heretofore referred to as B2). Anyway, problem solved. I was afraid panty hose would be too thin and erode very quickly. Well see.

Re: AC 70 Declawed

OK, well and now for an update. B2 has been all around the AC70 and it is serving it's purpose. My only concern is due to the nature of the material used will it be a nitrite factory? I don't plan on having it for much longer..maybe a couple of weeks at the very longest.

Re: AC 70 Declawed

I don't think it'll be a problem if you're only going to run it for a few weeks. If nothing else, check it after a week or two to make sure it isn't catching too many large particles. If it is, clean/replace it. If not, great!
