shortcuts/hints/ideas or questions for same

Vasoline makes the background stick nicely to the back of a tank. Dont use wallpaper, it shrinks.

Make sure you can reach all parts of the back of your tank before you set it up.

question: how do you hide your wires or strip plug?

Re: shortcuts/hints/ideas or questions for same

Here's my plan orb..I have been thinking about this for a while..couple of secs anyway. I have a long wooden box that was a part of my shelves in chambers. I am going to cut it in half and put one on each side of my tank. Easily moveable to plug/unplug all my stuff and doubles as a shelf on each side of tank. Will let you know if it works out.

Better late than never...one project at a time! Finally got my cover box (don't know what else to call it) completed. It not only covers all the plugs, timers, etc. but also doubles as a place to set stuff like my bucket when I am siphoning. This way I don't have to bend over quite so far to pick up a big bucket full of water. You can see from the pictures that I keep my converter handy!! So, so far Orb it works just fine.

Great idea Judge! Man, you have the brains to pass the bar as well as the brains of a handy man. Is that possible?

Orb, are you talking about the pitfalls to avoid? That thread isn't too old, and its turning into a great thread for new comers. You might be thinking of another thread though, not sure. This was a good topic to bring up Orb, good thinkin!
