I finally got a nice sized 3ft tank. A new 45 gallon for $130 by All Glass Aquariums that measures 36''x12''x24''
Pre-made/already assembled stands and canopys suck and are too expencive, I figured I'd make my own.
So far I've only got the frame for the stand. (and 2 cats who like the camra)
The "back" of the tank with 4'' L supports in the corners for that extra support (they also served as a nice 90 degree angle since I didn't have a real T or Tri Square)

Only used some 3.5''x3.5'' s and some 3''x1.5'' s so far.
I'll have all of the exact measurments when I get more done.
