well hi my question is that all my females have died and all were pregnant yesterday i was my mickey mouse (white) platy and it was very very fat and preg for a long time prob and it died all my females either died before birth or gave birth then died and the fry died is this a disease or something but all my females keep dieng there was no symptoms
I dont know what would have cuased it. It does seem a high mortality rate for FryBirth. Has this been going on for a while or were they all Preggy together? I haven't had any yet but I bet you will be asked questions from more experienced addicts but where the females separated from everyone else by like a net breeder or a separte tank? if it is a diff tank I could see that maybe the other tank has an issue and it is only effecting your females because yours males arent in it? Or I read a post about how fry can require slightly different water params then adults? Like I said I really dont know but those might be things to consider.
