| Need Help Pls - Ich problem Ok, first let me explain my tank set-up. I have a 75 gal with numerous plants, rocks and drift wood. I had a giant Oscar (solo) in it for like 10 years and he finally died I assume of old age. Once he passed I decided on turning it into a community tank. I did a good water change, not enough to destroy the good bio, and added a few plants and some more rocks. I tested the water and all looked pretty good, Nitrates a little high but not bad. I purchased 5 Cherry Barbs and they seems great after a week. Then I added 3 Clowns loachs and 5 Rosy long-finned Tetras. All seemed well for another week until I added 5 Hatchfish and 2 plecos. All of a sudden ICH popped up and within 1 week I lost all the loachs and the Cherry Barbs. I treated with NOX ICH and thought all was well. One of the Hatchfish has Ich now so I treated with Quick Cure and turned off the light. My question: How often should I treat the tank including number of water changes in between? I am wondered if the Tetras and the Hatchfish can handle the heat? I turned it up to 76 degrees. Suggestions? Ideas? I don't want to loss any more fish and not really worried about the plants. Thanks ahead of time for any help.
