| Re: Tiger Barb, white eye? Sounds like a condition called eye cloud. It is bacterial usually from poor water conditions or injury that gets infections. There are several medications that treat this condition, be sure to look at them carefully and go with one that says it will not damage the good bacteria in the tank (bacteria for cycling the tank) and follow the directions exactly and do not overdose. Be careful of antibiotics read the labels carefully they are known to mess up the cycle of your tanks. Melafix is a antibiotic alternative that i have used a couple of times and found it to work and not mess with the cycle of the tank(good bacteria). Make sure you follow directions on the bottle and follow treatment till the end for melafix or any other meds so the eye cloud does not return. Hope this helps. Keep up with the water changes also, clean water is always a help with these conditions.
