i have a 55 gallon freshwater tank with 16 african cichlids (small and medium size) and 2 oscars. i just noticed 2 days ago some white spots on one of my electric blue cichlids. i havent tested my water yet, but just by telling from the white spots, would they have ich? i read in a previous thread about the natural treatment with rising the temp and using salt. i have rock salt for when i add new fish i was told it helps the stress level of the fish because they are so aggressive. would this be good for treatment?? any advice is appreciated, i will try and get pictures of my tank up here.
its actually really cool, im a DJ at a local hookah lounge "Hookah Source". i recently built a dj booth with my fish tank built in, flush, in the front of the booth so it gives off the look of turntable on top of a fishtank.

prety original. anyways any advice is appreciated. thanks!
btw im new to this forum and i'll be starting a 135 gallon saltwater tank soon so i'll be posting some pics down the road.
