| very confused!! Please help me if you can. I got a 30 gal. aquarium last Jan. I did all my research, cycled the tank, built up a community slowly.
About a month and a half, my fish started dying off - one by one. One will start to lose color, then a few days later it'll die, some seem to lose their balance and start spinning. Then a week later another will die. The strange thing is, the deaths go through one school at a time. First all my lemon tetras died, then my danios, then cory cats and finally the last of my platies died. I have a few more fish left that look very healthy but I'm very hesitant to add any more until I know what's going on. I'm debating getting rid of the ones left, completely cleaning the tank and starting all over.
Just for background, I do a 10%-15% water change every week. Test my water every few days and have never had alarming numbers, even took a sample of water to PetSmart and they said there was nothing wrong with it. |
