zebra danio in really bad shape

hey all, last night I noticed one of my zebra danios was lying on the gravel behind a clump of plants. Thinking he was dead I went to scoop him out of the tank and he started swimming again (although he was a bit lopsided) this morning I found him in the same position. Please help!

what size tank?
what other fish?
i think you may have gotten nitrItes and your nitrAtes mixed up, try testing those two again and post them

oops, the nitrite is <.3 My kit doesnt test for nitrates, although I do weekly water changes so It shouldnt be high.
specs:
65g planted freshwater tropical
3 algae eaters
6 platys (with several fry)
6 zebra danios
3 pearl gouramis
1 tri-color shark

have you recently added a multiple amount of fish ? because if your tank was cycled, and you seem to have the hang of a tank since its a pretty big one and you have plants (which should keep your nitrates down), but your nitrites shouldnt be anywhere above 0, this could be the cause for your zebra to feeling sick .. do a major water change, like 35%, and then a 20% one each week until the testable nitrite is down to 0 (dont test right after the water change)

The last fish I added was the tricolor a month ago. I'll do the water changes and see if it does anything. I was doing some reading and think it might be a swim bladder disorder, probably due to improper feeding (I haven't quite got the hang of a balanced diet yet) What do you think?

does he swim right now ? if he does is he all slanted, or just lie on the gravel?
the water changes will atleast get rid of the nitrites, but keep doing some research on whats wrong with your danio , and try anything they give out on the internet

He swims around occasionally and he is wobbly and slanted. I think ill try giving him some food with lots of roughage
