 Flukes killing all my fish??? Help!
My daughter has a 10 gal tank with one yellow platy and about 7 baby platys. the babies are from an red platy. the mother of the babies died. Two other red platies died. The yellow platy looks like it is going to die, and has a fluke sticking out of it's eye just like one of the red platies. She has put in the medicine that was recommended to her, and has just done everything that she can find out to do. She was on another forum, but hasn't got an answer yet.
she said all the sides of the tank are infested with tiny worms that you can hardly see. I thought maybe she should move the baby platies to another tank that she has set up, but she said the nitrates or nitrites are too high in that tank, and she doesn't want to cause them anymore stress. She really thinks that she is going to lose all her fish............what to do?
