theres a few strands of some cloudy looking stuff that is hanging off one of my decorations. (plastic fake wood thing)

i tried to manually take take it off the decoration, but it broke apart pretty easily, which probably isnt good


it looks like really fine algae, not thick at all, almost transparent. its whitish and cloudy, and kind of hands off the decoration with its strands in the current. really small too, cant be bigger than half an inch


what the he11 is this??

There are hundreds of algae, a pic would help.

If it is bothering you, you could take the decoration out and disinfect it.
