Unhappy Shading on Oscar fins

Anyone out there able to tell me what the whitish/shading visible on the fins of my Oscars might be and tell me how I should treat it.
Click below to view a video and tell me what you think.

Re: Shading on Oscar fins

Looks like it might be the start of fin and tail rot, its hard to tell though.
What size tank are they in? What are your params in the tank? Do you have a still pic of them?
By the way.................

Re: Shading on Oscar fins

Thanks for the welcome and replay everybody, sorry about the delay, I expected to get a response via e-mail? My setting may be incorrect, correcting as we speak.

My water perameters are as follows:

150 gallon
2-10-11" mated pair Oscars
4-3" bala sharks (scavenger cleanup crew)
1-6" Pleco (same)
NH3: 0
No2: 0
No3: 15 (before water change)

Since posting this memo, I've been cooking the tank water @88 degrees, dosed with sea salt @1tsp per gallon, and dosing daily with aprox 7ml of Aquarisol. and doing 50% water change every 7 days.
Results:
The largest 'Rocky' cleared up both fins the first couple days. The Lutino red 'Winkie', her left fins cleared a day or so later and the right one still has small amount on the edge of the right fin.
what it was I havn't a clue but I know it's not suppose to be there. The fins are supposed to be clear and transparent. That is where I always look for signs of trouble.
You would think they would be uncomfortable in water that hot but they actually seem more content. I used to keep my O's closer to the 80 deg temp but I read on various forum that 78 was ideal. with the little amount of help I rec'd from the other forums (aside from 'That Fish Guy' on Cichlid-forum) I'm considering keeping it at 80 after the two-three weeks I intend to cook the water.

Re: Shading on Oscar fins

Well yes they are growing but there was something on the fins, and after the aforementioned method it disappeared after 8days. Don't know what is was, but whatever it was is gone.
