Hello all. Here lately I've noticed like a white sort of fungus looking film on my red devil. I assumed it was ich so used NOX-ICH several times but it seems to have no effect. What is this? any helps appriciated!

Sounds like it might be fin and tail rot, I suggest you treat the tank with melafix. Make sure and folow the directions.

If the Melafix doesn't do it here is my suggestion that has bailed me out of alot of problems in the past.
Dose the tank with aquarium salt t 1tsp per gallon. Add Aquarisol to the recommended dosage on the bottle. Slowly raise the temp 2 degrees per day until it gets to about 88 degrees. make sure there is a lot of water movement as at that temperature the oxygen content will be affected measurable. If it's going to work you will notice it in a matter of days. Be patient, don't stress them by constantly sticking your hands in there. Do a 50% every week.Someone took the time to share this with me allowing me to save my pair of Oscars and I am sharing it with you. Pass it on to other hobbyists in return.
