Angel fish with huge top "lip"

I've got an angel fish with a top lip that grows bigger every day! I've called numerous fish stores thinking it was some weird disease that I could treat and they all seem to think this is a tumor on my angel fish. Just wanted to see what you all thought. It's getting so big that he seems to have a hard time eating. This isn't the greatest picture but you get the idea by the size of that bubble lip.

It is called Lip Fibroma (Fibropapilloma), I have been looking and have not found a treatment for it, see if you can. Here is the info I found, it is #5 under neoplasms, about halfway down the page. http://article.dphnet.com/cat-02/biology2.shtml

Thank you so much for the info. Now I will be on a mission to find something on it. All I am seeing now is sea turtles and angel fish getting it but they all say the same exact thing with no cures mentioned.

thats crazy, human tumors they just cut off with a scalpal, that one seems like it would be a pretty simple surgery, Ive never heard of tumors being cut off of fish though. Could removing it kill him? You might want to think about it.
