| OK so here's the deal. After doing some more research I'm pretty sure that it is just an advanced case of Hole in Lateral Lines Disease. Sorry to anybody that might have suggested it and I said it wasn't, but after looking I just can't think that it owuld be anything else. The top of the hole is where the lateral line would be and it's right behind the gill. Actually, closer to being behide the fin. Again, I have him in a quarentine tank with a mixture of Pimafix and Melafix. I'm changing the water once a day. This is the 2nd day of the combo Fix. If anybody has any suggestions I'm open (obviously). I think, eventually, this fish will not make it considering it's conditions. But if someone thinks otherwise, I'd like to hear what you have to say. I'll keep you posted on his conditions. Feel free to post anything that might be of any help. |
