Plattie Problem

my plattie is almost dead, i woke up this morning and he was barely moving and breathing heavily. i seperated him from the tank and put him in a betta cup. the one my betta came in after i rinsed it out. i added some stress zyme. his scales are pale. he has no frayed fins. this is the 7th plattie that i will lose with no apparent reason.

ammonia-0
nitrate-0
nitrite-0
ph-8.3

on live aqauria it said they could take ph up to 8.2
all my other fish are fine, the pleco is no longer starving. finely found a food he liked so he is off slime coats. he only went after my gourami once and no other fish, the gourami is fine. but i am very confused, i do have a very very high concentration of calcium in my wager if that would count. you can actually see it floating in the water. thats how much we have. would that be a cause of plattie death, they are small fish and would that affect there gill function. if it did i added some ammo lock also, it "protects healthy gill function". i am very confused any any help is appreciated.

Thanks

Update

moved to bigger container, added ammo lock to help his gills.

and added TETRACYCLINE. antibiotic capsules
it is ment for freshwater,
can be removed with carbon,
is ment specificly for livebearers.
i looked it up and a plattie is a livebearer,

TREATS:
Ulcers and open sores
frayed fins and tail
mouth and body sores
abdominal bloat
red patches
bacterial infections
livebearer didease
fungal infections
dropsy
furunculosis(have no clue what it is)

i also took a closer looked at him and his fins are a tiny bt frayed. so according to this medication it will help this to. it also says treat evry other day for five days.

also he is having problems staying up right, he is mostly on his back but he is constatly trying to correct himself

again any help is appreciated.

Thanks

dustinb is on a distinguished road
you might want to look into swin bladder disease. It is the organ that helps your fish swim upright. It could be a bacteria infection or strees from being moved or just bad water quality. treat him in shallow water with an anitbiotic and do water changes every day or so.

I would still use the salt in the display tank. It is not harmful and the other fish have at least been exposed to the parasite.
