Hello. I got an oscar a little less than a month ago. I put him in the only tank I had set up at the time (10 gallon). The oscar is about 3-4 inches long and it was doing fine for the first 2 and half weeks of being in that tank. I woke up the other morning and looked in the tankk, he was racing up and down and left to right. I had put a little miror against the outside of the tank so he could have a friend, when I first got him home. He was swimming into the glass where the miror was this morning, so I took it away from him, but he was still swimming around like he had gone mad! He is my first oscar and i already love him and want to do the best for him. I have been feeding him a food called "Oscar Show", freezer dried krill, bloodworms, and somtimes flake food. I have given him a cricket and it was fun for me to watch him eat it until it looked like he was choking on it, so I didn't give him any more. I'm getting a 55 gallon tank sometime next month maybe this moth if I'm lucky. I would love to get the 75 gallon, but this tank is going upstairs and the wieght might be to much. Plus I only have a 4 foot space. So, why is my oscar (Jack) going nuts or am i just a worry wort?

Any information about oscars in generall would be good too. I do a 25% water change at least once a week. Usually 2 or 3 times.
