Hi,
I have treated this fish for finrot and also ich, the fish seems to be healthy except for the fact that his tail fin at first seemed to have finrot, I moved him to a smaller tank for treatment, once that treatment was complete his tailfin seemed to have ich like spects. The fish seems to be healthy other then to two items explained. He is eating and doesn't seem to be in any stress. I'm leary about putting him back with the other fish, some of them are quite expensive. Does any one have any suggestions?

I think that you having this fish in a quarantine tank is the most appropriate thing to do and you can continue to keep it in quarantine until you feel it is safe for your display tank. IMO, it is always best to err on the safe side and so long as your quarantine tank is able to support a fish for the long term (i.e. has a heater, filter, and is cycled), there is no harm in keeping this fish out of your main tank.
