Sounds like ick. you could either put them in a hospital tank or treat your whole tank. but that is up to you. you can find plenty of ick treatments at your lfs. ick is usually caused by a fish being stressed or it the fish already had it when it was introduced.

so im assuming you didnt cycle the tank. Cycling usually takes at a minimum of a month to complete. Don't worry you only have to cycle the tank once. you should take a look at cycling your tank sticky. if you already havn't, you should purchase some test kits from your lfs like
ammonia
nitrite
nitrate
ph
ect.
you are better off to get the liquid test kits because they are more accurate and last longer. and being accurate is a very crucial matter in a aquarium. your fish's lives depend on it.

keeping a aquarium or tank is a great hobby to have so don't give up, and keep alot of patience. in the end its all worth it.
Good luck with your tank

New items in the tank can stress a fish. a little to alot. but no matter on how much stress it causes it is that much more that the fishes ammunity is weakened. depending on how advanced the ick could be on the coral when you bought it, yes they could catch it this fast. luckily its only in the beggining stages and you can treat the fish before it gets even more advanced, ultimatly that would stress the fish more and thus a weaker ammunity, and the process repeats untill the fish dies. so you will want to cure the fish as fast as possible.

i would also do a water change asap
