| how long can ich
Ok, I have a 30 Gallon freshwater tank. I have 6 Neon Tetras, 4 Glowlight Tetras, a Pleco, and some snails that were brought in on some driftwood. I brought Ich into the tank via my new batch of 4 Neons that I was adding to my existing 4, now I only have 6 total because 2 of the new 4 died of Ich. I cought it VERY early, I only noticed 2 spots on one of my new fish and started tx immediately. I am treating with "Ich Attach 100% organic," It is supposed to be less harmfull to the fish. I have raised the tank temp from 78 - 82 degrees F. I have been treating my tank for about 5 WEEKS NOW!!! Most of the Ich is gone, however, 1 Glow light and 1 Neon still have a white Ich spot on their dorsal fin. I check EVERY DAY and no changes. How long should I keep dumping Ich Attach in my tank and leaving the temp so high!? I can't find ANY help online. I have also done one 50% water change in the 5 weeks and continued treatment, also there has been no carbon in my filter for this time. Fish seem perfectly healthy BTW, no flashing or anything, I can just plainly see the spots still!
