| Blue tang I have studied my blue and realize that this fish is vary nervous by nature. It has settled in and all white spots are gone and no one else in the tank got sick. I put Marine Max and Marine Care in about ever 2-3 days for a couple of weeks. Just a hair under dosage for my size tank. Things seem to be good. She comes out to play with other fish now and has her own area of rock to protect and seems to like living in my little ocean. Also, I was told that since my tank is new(4months), that ich should not be a problem. I also added a protien skimmer which has beifitted everyone in the tank. Kathy

| Re: Blue tang IME they are a "nervous" fish. Sounds like it's doing well. As far as ich not being a problem in young tanks- that's ridiculous. If there's fish in it ich is possible.

| Re: Blue tang Its very common to get Ich in a new tank for the simple reason that people get to inpatient and dont follow proper quarentine procedures with their newly aquired fish.
