| Yellow tang sick? I will get a picture up as soon as posible but does someone have a picture of a yellow tang that is sick with ick?
I notice it has a white-ish stripe going horizontally across its body on both sides just about the mid point of the body. It dont act sick and the other fish are fine.

| Re: Yellow tang sick? Hellow New2Me,
First off don't worry sounds like your Tang is fine . All Yellow Sailfish Tangs have a stripe at about where there lateral line is. Mine has it and it appears white when the actinic lights in the tank first turn on. After a while it turns yellow, but is still noticable. Ich looks like white dots or specks that would be all over the tangs body. You would also notice a decreased appetite and would looked very laboured when swimming. |

| Re: Yellow tang sick? Thank you for the response I was a bit worried because I did not remember the marks until I came back from a week long vacation. My youngest brother was the only person I could find to take care of my pets and was not very "comfortable" with it. But I guess he actually did what he was asked AND cleaned up my house.
