hey guys i have a coral beauty that ive had for a week its been ok swiming around alot but yesterday i notice that it had a white spot on the top fin and this morning i notice it on his eye and his eye is little swollen the guy at the lfs said that its ich.this is the first fish in the tank did it come with ich or did my tank have it. it was cycled for a month and all peramiters are good i dont have a quarintin tank so i need some help please!!

you may have to invest in a 10 gallon tank,some copper, a small ext. filter, htr, and a small power head for a QT. I wouldnt suggest running copper in your main tank. Plus you should always quarentine new fish for a couple of weeks before adding them into your display tank. This will save you a lot of heartache in the end. Once you have this problem taken care of. I'd recommend a product called marine-max.. This will not get rid of the Ich but it will prevent it from returning or developing again. I've been using it for years and never had a problem with Ich.. But i also always quarentine new arrivals, I suggest you do the same. Good luck and keep us posted.
