Damn tommy thats some really crappy....crap. Achilles tangs from what i hear are kinda difficult, compared to others any way. Sorry to hear about your bad luck and i hope you give one of those Achilles Tangs another shot eventually.

Like I mentioned, I did pick up a yellow tang after the Achillies passed away but to amazement, it must have died as well (I had been away for almost three days and when I came back, it was never to be found again). So, for now, I am really thinking that I either have bad luck with tangs in general, or there is something going on in my tank that tangs are particularly sensitive to. Although, after a lot of convincing on my part, my wife finally gave in and let me pick up a young foxface (she is scared of getting nailed by it because she has been doing water changes when I can't...which is almost always), the exact same thing happened, except it must have died overnight and by the time I got curious enough to justify disturbing my tank via a search and rescue mission, all evidence was already removed by the less visible life I have in there. So, for now, I am stepping away from adding any more fish - somewhat due to Christmas time economics, but also because I am tired of losing fish; but I am sure I will be back in the saddle by the latter portion of next week.
