| Popeye??? Hey gang,
I think I accidentally posted this where no one will ever find it, so I am posing it again.....here. I've got a problem and need some help. One of my babies has developed.....pop eye. I originally thought it might have been an injury because it is only on one eye, and all the other fish are doing well. I first noticed this about two weeks ago and in the last week she has STOPPED EATING. Should I pull her out and treat her. With what? How can I make sure she gets proper nourishment.
Info:
I am running a 55gal reef with 11 inches of fish, snails and crabs. I do regular 5 gal water changes. Water levels always appear to be nominal. Lastly, shortly before all this occurred, I noticed my skimmer had broken, I have no clue for how long. Lastly, I run a chemical free tank.

| Pop-eye is a secondary infection for another disease or parasite, you will have to treat for both parasites and bacterial infections in order for the pop-eye to subside. Once the initial problem is fixed the pop-eye should fix itself. I would suggest treating the fish in a hospital tank. |
