Mushroom Question

I have a purple mushroom that I had a previous question about (pinwheeling) but it now has a new "baby" right next to it that came from the foot that was left when the original shroom moved just a couple of hairs away. (Awe, it's so cute). Oh, sorry! Anyway, I also have a small rock with red shrooms on it. It has not moved around any but it has had two"babies" but they are on completely different rocks not really that close by. So, am I correct in assuming that there is more than one way for them to reproduce???or is it different for different types/colors?? Just curious, they are all growing by leaps and bounds, just doing it differently. Has anyone else noticed this with their shrooms? Thanks
