Pinwheelin' Mushroom

Ok, for lack of a better way to describe it my purple mushroom looks as if it is trying to twist into a pinwheel shape. I checked water yesterday and all within normal. No ammonia, Nitrites, temp about 79, SG is 1.025, no phosphates, coralline growing like crazy and no other watery friends having any problems. Got any ideas?? Thanks in advance.

Thanks Uncle Jed. My photo's usually don't come out so well but all is ok. Apparently my description was common enough that I received some info and sure enough it has split and the old foot is growing in to a new shroom. The original just "moved over".
