I was told that the light in my new biocube is not enough for an anemone. My clown had one for several months (in my 75 gallon) till it took a turn for the worse. I've been told that sometimes they host in corals. Is this true? Does anyone have their clown host in any corals and if yes which ones?
I have this really good invertabrate book and those are the ones that it said anemonefish may host in. But, it said they get irritated by fish that try to host with them.
i have a maroon that hosted in a bubble tip until it died and then immediately went to my torch LPS for his new home. My torch is now 1/4 the size it used to be. they will host up but the corals dont like it.
When I bought my clowns, the LFS said that they probably would not host for quite a while because they were tank bred. Wonder how many tank bred clowns ever host?
