decision 3, not a good one:(

decision 3, not so good. I bought fiji pink sand, I asked for white sand, lfs guy said it was white, wellllll, now that its in the tank, it sure as h is not white, its not even pink, it looks like childrens play sand only a little more gritty.

So, back to the store tomorrow to return the other 20 lbs.

As of this moment my tank looks like Lake Erie canel, sludge crap on the top and a cloudy mess. I assume this is the sand storm I asked about. In fact I think the Erie canal is cleaner.

I checked fijisandman's site, the smallest amount he sells is 30 lbs, I will only need 10 maybe 20, price is good. Does the stuff keep?

I would've got 3-4 30lb boxes for your tank, 30lbs definately wouldn't hurt.

The new batches of Fiji pink are predominately white with little pink coraline pieces. It used to be a lot more pink but the changed the consistancy, I personally liked the older style better
