| freshwater to saltwater
im lookin to convert my 45g to a saltwater setup, before it was a freshwater setup for my 3 african cichlids, i had to swap the tanks on them because they were being so aggressive in the 20g, the tank always gave me problems so i figured this would help, the cycle in the tank over turned and chemicals readings went off the charts, example the ammonia was over 8.0 and so on for the rest, the last thing i did was vac the gravel and i didnt go past 6 gallons of change when doin so, the 20g i never vac and never had problems with it. when the 45g cycle turned over i figured i might as well go with a saltwater. so any insight to this switch? |
