For a 120g i'd do 10-15 gallons weekly.. If you have a good skimmer, bi-weekly. Some people say to change out 20% weekly, I change out about 10 gallons every two weeks in my 180 and my tank is prestine. But I also have two skimmers.--->CBR

I agree with the weekly changes. It will really help keep things parameters steady.

I have a ASM G2 skimmer. I think Im going to shoot for 25 gallons bi-weekly. Thanks for your help

I think you are right on with the 25, although the standard of 30% would put you you at 36 but remember you don't actually have 120 gal. of water volume. I was going to suggest every 3 weeks so we are close on that. We have had discussions in this forum about weekly changes of which I am not a proponent.

Well I also have a sump/refugium and thats about another 20 gallons but with about 110 lbs of live rock and the sand Im thinking im right back at 120.
