Going Smaller Starting over any Sugs?

Hi guys looks like im going to be going smaller in tank size. I currently have a 55gal setup for the past year and a half and I cant really keep up with it anymore. Water changes are a pain for me since of the tanks location and I can't handle it taking up all this space in my room. It also started have a tiny tiny leak in the bottom of it where salt is forming so I am going to go ahead and take it down and put it in storage till I can get rid of it.

I have been really interested in the smaller 24gal Aquapod Tank and I think I am going to go ahead and set up one. Now for the few questions I have before I purchase it.

The live rock that I have in my 55gal has a good amount of Red Slime on it so I was thinking if I just take it out and pressure clean the rock and throw it in the new tank will that be fine? I have over 40lbs of live rock and if I can reuse it in my 24 gal then I will but I do need to clean this rock cause it is pretty dirty lol. I have fuji rock and branch rock im guessen it wont be live rock if I pressure clean it lol. I just need some insight on what I should do.

I don't know about your rock question I am sure it won't be live anymore if you pressure wash it. However...

A smaller tank will end up being more maintenance for you. More frequent, smaller water changes etc...
something to consider
