I'd like to ask you folks for suggestions in terms of setting up nice currents and or waves. Based on experience, what might work well for me and what size should I look for in pumps? Are waves okay with my skimmer box? Any advice before I pull the plug on a guesstimate would be appreciated.
This item, plus an appropriate pump (?) has me interested.

Here are my parameters:
- I have a modest 55g tank with a wet dry filter
- My sump return is provided by a Catalina CA 2200 (850 gph)
- I like the unobtrusive external idea
- Quite efficiency is desired, will pay more for quality
- My goal is to establish a fish - invertebrate system with the door open for possible development into a reef system.
- I have no live stock yet. I'm at the stage of getting live sand and rock and fleshing out my equipment.
