building a sump

I have it set up as it comes in it goes under a baffle then to the skimmer area etc.. then over a baffle that is about 3 in from the top of the tank that flows over to the pump seems to work well have had it running from about 5 months

where do you put your heater? im not sure if i should put it at the beginning of the sump or the end.

well i have two in mine one in the deep part and the other in the shallow part by the pump
