| Salvaged old kitchen for hobby purposes
My wife finally got her new contertops installed. Why is this important. Given all the money I put into my tank she deserved this. However, as a bonus I salvaged the old stuff in put it in my garage. Now I have my own place to clean, test, and repair. I can leave the skimmer cup in the sink as long as I please. Really, it does make having an aquarium a little easier. I even used the old stock light from my tank.  
I will need to paint the base which was the cheapest I could find at home depot.

Tank: 75 Gallon Reef, 20 gallon wet/dry, Quiet1One 4000 pump, 250 watt heater, Milwaukee PH monitor, Coralife 125 skimmer, Coralife 260 watt light.
Fish: Golden Wrasse, Sailfin Tang, Convict Gobbie, Tomato Clown, and Foxface Rabbit, CCStar, BTA, Colt coral and a cleanup crew including a camel shrimp. |

Nice Las,
Is that solid surface tops? I really like the under mount sinks! They really are sharp compared to the regular stainless steels. It looks very nice!
I am uber jealous over your little work area in the garage! That is the only thing I miss, having MORE room than this 1 bedroom apt, that now has 4 tanks running in it!(still upgrading)
I too make "trade offs" with my girlfriend now that I started a new tank. She basically gets whatever she wants.... Its a win, win! Gotta keep them happy!  | |

Yes it is a solid surface. We opted for the SS sink rather than the solid surface type. We felt it would maintain better. I did install the tile backsplash throughout the kitchen. Yes, keep the other half happy and things will stay peachy.

I thought so. We mostly install solid surface counter in our homes. Along with either the stainless steel sink, or those two tone solid surface bowls. Like say with your, you could of opted for the off white sink. I really like the two tone tops...
