| Re: Water clouds after water change oops, I didn't notice how old the thread is, I just am reading everything I can! I think that my cloudy water came from the coldness. I talked to my guy at the LFS and he agreed that it can make the water cloudy if it isn't warm enough. Also, I have a sub-optimal heater, it doesn't have an adjustment on it, and I will need to replace that sometime soon.
ps no, I didn't mean to suggest NOT to mix the water a day ahead of time...I was just saying that because I don't have anywhere to put mine so a powerhead can mix mine a day ahead, I thought that was why mine was so cloudy. But, the day it was the worst was the day the water was probably too cold. I didn't catch your comment the first time I read this...I sure don't mean to be giving any advice, I don't know enough yet!
