What Reverse Osmosis / De Ionizer system do you use?

I'm looking to upgrade to a new RO/DI system, but there are quite a few to choose from. I'm looking at the 3 cartridge systems that have the prefilter, carbon filter and the DI cartridge. The gallons per day is not that important, but I'm looking at something between 35 & 50.

Tommy, GM, Nereaga, Chitown, what do you guys use? Any recommendations? Any brands or type to stay away from?

I see Pure-Flo, SpectraPure, Marine Pro, Kent Marine, among others.

Any comments, thoughts & suggestions are greatly appreciated.

I use one from e-bay called aquasafe. All r/o systems work in the same manner. You can use any prefilters as long as the length is correct.

I myself still do the whole water thing the old fashioned way, I buy gallons from the grocery store. Get up with the times Brad, geez! lol I dont mind putting in the extra time for my tank! Its enjoyment for me. Just ask my girlfriend....

Anyways, Im currently looking at the Kent Marine ones myself. I like their product lines and they seem to produce good products. Like GM said, they are all basically the same. As in you can choose what cartridges you want as long as they are the right legnth.

Re: What Reverse Osmosis / De Ionizer system do you use?

Thanks for the feedback! I've gone ahead and ordered a Captive Purity 35GPD 4 stage system from Marine Depot.

I'm looking forward to getting my little saltwater friends some higher quality water. Because it turns out, that the filter that I'm using, isn't RO...it's just a de ionizer...which may be causing some of the deaths and decrease in healthiness in my tank.
