Cyanobacteria?

Iam starting to notice a clear hair like slime growing on my substrate and glass just wondering if this could be Cyanobacteria?. I only started to notice this today when i got home from work. I did a 5 gal water change as every tuesday is water change day for me, I also removed what i could of the slime and noticed lots of sand was sticking to the slime. I have also been getting lots of alga growing on the glass and diatoms on the substrate. I tested my water before the water change my readings were
ammonia 0
nitrite 0
nitrate 20
ph 8.2

The tank is now three months old, it cycled for a little over a month were i noticed a very high spike of ammonia followed by nitrite, and then back down to 0. I run a corallife skimmer (125) i have one seio 620 powerhead, a 250w coral vue mh light (10000k)
and 50lbs of lr.
O BTW the tank is 33 gal and i use ro water that i buy from the store for water changes

did you look at this topic

http://www.fishtankforums.com/6-salt...een-algae.html

My grandpa had a very severe outbreak in his 75 gallon, turned his whole tank blue. He finaly cured it with chemicals. As with any algae or bactierial infection check to see if your tank is getting to many trace elements, especialy phosphates.

can you post a picture of the outbreak?
