Malaysian Trumpet Snails 100+ adults ready to ship

I emptied out one of my shrimp tanks and have over 100 nice size healthy MTS available. SUPER gravel cleaners - I couldn't have done the shrimp without them (in my opinion anyway). Mostly only come out after lights out so they aren't annoying - but even if I did see them, I didn't mind because of how great a job they did on the gravel (sand in many of my tanks).

So the whole lot for only $19.00 (INCLUDES priority mail shipping). Paypal is fine.
HURRY! They won't last long - great price for grown adult snails and enough to do a tank (these and many that I didn't pick out) were in my 10g tank.

i'm gonna do some research on my own, but i'd like your input as to why they are good. are they good for planted tanks? why do I need 100 in my tank?! when adding something like that, do they go into the stocking number (how many "fish" to have)?

Re: Malaysian Trumpet Snails 100+ adults ready to ship

Sorry to be so long in getting around to answering this, my computer got nailed with a lightening strike (thankfully it only took out the power supply - an $87 fix instead of a new computer - I was lucky!!).

They are all gone, but since you're still in the market, I'll do my best to answer all your questions. They are absolutely wonderful for planted tanks - that's the only kind of tanks we have. They keep the substrate stirred up allowing the roots to be able to grow and reach instead of getting bound up because the substrate is packed too tightly. As to the number per tank - on that I absolutely don't have an answer. But they do multiply pretty prolifically, so you could start out with less. In hindsight, I suppose no one needs 100+ in ONE tank to start out with unless they are planning on spreading them around later to a bunch of other tanks (or selling them).

Thanks for your inquiry - I hope you find some soon. They really do help the tanks.
